2019 Travelers Championship Betting Cheat Sheet: Odds, Picks, Longshots & More

The tournament after a major always presents some interesting opportunities for golf punters. The Travelers Championship fits that bill — and then some.

That's because the Travelers, which begins on Thursday at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Conn., features an unusually strong field for a tournament directly after a major.

Brooks Koepka, fresh off a second-place finish at Pebble Beach last weekend, is the consensus favorite at 8-1 with Patrick Cantlay (10-1) and Jordan Spieth (16-1) right behind him.

They aren't the only big names playing, though. Paul Casey (16-1), Jason Day (20-1), Justin Thomas (20-1) and Francesco Molinari (20-1) are also making the trip to Connecticut, as are Tommy Fleetwood (25-1), Tony Finau (30-1) and Bryson DeChambeau (25-1).

Bubba Watson — who has won this tournament three times, including in 2018 — is currently priced at 25-1.

The volatility of a tournament right after a major with a field this strong sets up for a very interesting betting weekend.
