There was no controversial finish at Pimlico on Saturday and that is good news for bettors because a couple of big prices hit the board in the second leg of the Triple Crown.
No. 1 War Of Will won the 2019 Preakness Stakes with No. 10 Everfast (25-1) finishing second and No. 5 Owendale (7-1) finishing third.
War Of Will was the horse that was infamously bumped by Maximum Security in the Kentucky Derby, which adds an interesting narrative to the Belmont Stakes on June 8.
The post-time favorite, No. 4 Improbable (5-2) finished sixth.
