  • Sharp bettors are finding value on several conference championship games, but two in particular have drawn one-sided action.
  • Check out how the pros are betting the Big 12 (Baylor vs. Oklahoma) and Big Ten (Wisconsin vs. Ohio State) Championships.

Conference championship weekend may mean a smaller overall slate, but there won't be any shortage of betting action to go across the nine championship games.

There also hasn't been a shortage of sharp action hitting these games throughout the week, though in some cases, that action hasn't been completely one-sided. There have been a couple games, however, that sharps have been in agreement on … at least to this point.

Let's take a look at how pro action is shaping lines for the Big 12 and Big Ten Championship Games.

Big 12 Championship: Baylor vs. Oklahoma

12 p.m. ET | ABC | Arlington, Texas

Surprise, surprise … the highest total on the conference championship slate comes from the Big 12.

That wasn't always the case, though (and even now, the Baylor-Oklahoma matchup has only a half-point edge over the Mountain West Championship between Boise State and Hawaii).

Oddsmakers opened this total down at 61, and given the Big 12's reputation for scoring, they were probably expecting the public to flock to the over at that number. That's certainly been the case, as 79% of bettors on the total have hit the over.

I doubt they were expecting sharps to be among that majority, though.

Per Sports Insights' Bet Signals, there have been four instances of market-wide moves on the total as a result of sharp action to this point, and all four have landed on the over (at numbers ranging from 61.5 to 63).

As a result, the number has risen up to a consensus 65.

Big Ten Championship: Wisconsin vs. Ohio State

8 p.m. ET | FOX | Indianapolis, Ind.

The second-largest spread on Saturday's slate hasn't done much to keep bettors from laying the points with the Buckeyes. In fact, 74% of spread bets have landed on Ohio State, which could make that the most common Saturday ticket given how heavily-bet this game will be.

Despite all the Buckeye love, though, this spread has come down from its high-water mark (and opener at some books) of -17.5. It now sits at -15.5 — a fairly significant move given the significance of the number 17.

In this case, the SI Bet Signals aren't quite as necessary in revealing sharp activity (because the line move has come against the popular side), but they do still serve as confirmation, and the line at which they've come also provides a useful piece of information.

Three moves have hit Wisconsin — at +16.5 — meaning pros are still comfortable taking the points inside the key number.
