The latest weather report at Augusta National suggests players at the Masters could avoid rain until later in the evening.

Initial weather reports from earlier in the week showed potential rain on Friday for the second round of the tournament, but now it appears the rain will hold off until after play concludes.

According to AccuWeather, there is a 20% chance of overnight precipitation heading into Friday morning. But the chances don't eclipse 20% until 5 p.m. local time when there's a 47% chance of rain.

Thunderstorms are then expected in the early evening and later into the night.

Rain nor water should not impact play on Friday based on that report. Depending how much rain happens overnight, Saturday morning could be softer heading into the third round of play.

Winds are only expected to reach 8 mph gusts in the morning and up to 10 mph in the afternoon, which also means there shouldn't be much of a factor.

Temperatures should hover around 80 degrees.

As of Thursday, the worst of the weather could appear on Saturday with expected rain and possible thunderstorms in the afternoon.
