Tiger vs. Phil Odds: Line Movement, Props for ‘The Match’

- Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson will play a head-to-head match for $9 million on Friday, Nov. 23 at Shadow Creek Golf Course in Las Vegas.
- Woods is a -200 favorite to win the match, while Mickelson is a +170 underdog.
- "The Match" will be available to watch on pay-per-view for $19.99.

"The Match" was rumored to be happening for months. Back in May — before it became official and before Tiger found his form later in the season — Jeff Sherman of the Westgate SuperBook said the odds for the match would be around a pick 'em.
Then things changed.
Tiger vs. Phil Opening Odds
Once "The Match" became official, the odds opened with Woods as a consensus favorite on Aug. 2. Most offshore books opened Tiger between -135 and -140 with Mickelson between +110 and +135. In Vegas, the Westgate SuperBook opened the betting with Woods as a -130 favorite and Phil at +110.
Tiger vs. Phil Line Movement
It didn't take long for money to pour in on "The Match" and it was all one-way traffic for Tiger. It makes sense that money came pouring in on Woods, as he was playing well late in the summer while Phil was struggling.
That pushed the line all the way to Woods -180 later in August before settling at -200 for a few weeks. On Wednesday, Nov. 21 the lined moved in Phil's favor to Tiger -190/Phil +160.
