There’s too much talent and experience in this Rangers lineup to allow the Devils to sew up this series by sliding four straight games in a row in a first round series. The Rangers have yet to truly test Schmid, who has shined in what little challenges he has had to answer. With a shake up in the lineup, sound defense around the net and Shesterkin’s anchorage, expect the Rangers to throw the kitchen sink on goal to save their seasons at home. The power play can only stay dry for so long.
