How BetMGM's Deposit Match Works

This deposit match has a 10x rollover on the bonus amount. Over your first 30 days with BetMGM, you must wager 10x what you received as a bonus.

This is designed to prevent you from claiming the bonus and running. DraftKings' deposit match has a 25x rollover, meaning you're almost guaranteed to lose your entire bonus while you try to meet the requirement. Again, MGM's is 10x.

Here's how it works.

Say I deposit $500 and get $100 in cash from BetMGM. I need to wager 10-times that $100 in 30 days for the bonus money to become withdrawable — so $1,000.

But because you'll win about half your bets, it's not as much money as you think.

Say you make 20, $50 bets to reach the rollover amount. All point spreads in football or basketball, all at -110. It's a less than one bet per day.

• If you go 11-9, you'll make about $50 in profit, plus you'll get the $100 free from BetMGM. You'll now have $650 in your account off a $500 deposit.

Of course, you don't have to bet point spreads at -110 to hit your rollover. You can bet anything as long as it's shorter than -250 (so -240 is OK, -350 is not).

How to Bet MNF

Our Sean Koerner actually likes the Jets as a short favorite in this game:

It’s no surprise to see the public hammering the Jaguars, with 76% of the action and 82% of the money having poured in on them as of Wednesday at 6 p.m. ET.

However, I think the Jets are offering slight value here. The Jets should be able to overwhelm an injured Jaguars offensive line, especially with Williams coming back. Considering there should be steady rain throughout this game, it could be a lower-scoring game that will be decided in the trenches.

The Jaguars will also be without Walker, which should make life a bit easier for Wilson in a game thatI think the Jets should be able to win without him needing to do too much.

I’m projecting this closer to Jets -2.5 and the most likely outcome of this game is the Jets winning by three. There is a chance either Scherff and/or Taylor ends up being held out, which would make me love the Jets even more in this game.
