BetMGM Bonus Code TOPACTION Fetches $1K for Tuesday MLB Matchups

BetMGM Bonus Code TOPACTION Fetches $1K for Tuesday MLB Matchups article feature image

The NBA and Stanley Cup Finals are locked in for later in the week. In the meantime, we'll turn our attention to Tuesday's full slate of MLB action for BetMGM bonus code TOPACTION, which lends a $1,000 first bet on the house.

This bet can be any number up to $1,000 depending on your bankroll size. BetMGM has the Run Line at 2.5 for the Nationals-Dodgers game at 10:10 p.m. ET. So let's say you wager $100 on Dodgers -2.5 at +100. If your bet wins, you would get your $200 payout and the promotion is effectively over with, but if it loses, you get the $100 back in the form of bonus bets.

TOPACTION doesn't have to be used on MLB; it can be bet with on any Tuesday sporting event.

If you're looking to stock bonus bets instantly, you can bet $10 on any MLB moneyline and receive $100 in bonus bets no matter what ($200 in MA and Ohio). This is live until June 1, so Tuesday and Wednesday's games are the last chance to stockpile this value.

  • TOPACTION: $1k first bet on the house
  • ACTIONMLB: Bet $10, get $100 ($200 in MA & OH)

Neither of these offers are live in New York or Washington D.C.

BetMGM Offers by State

Both offers are live in most states, but because you're getting $200 in bonus bets in Mass. and Ohio and $100 everywhere else, we recommend using TOPACTION in most states. That offer can lock in a profit for more than $200, but most users won't want to go through that process.

BetMGM Promo Offer for Tuesday MLB Matchups

We compiled our top 12 sports betting tips and a how-to guide for reading American odds for those seeking to familiarize themselves. Also, if you’ve never bet with a sportsbook promotion before, here's a comprehensive breakdown of the different types of bonuses.

Our +EV betting guide explains that the lower the implied probability of your bet, the better value long term. How so? Here are three examples using a $50 wager. You can note that the higher the probability, the lower the expected value is in return.

Using $50, here are several scenarios on why this will benefit you:

OddsWin AmountProbabilityEV
Bet $50 on -250$2071.43%+$14.28
$50 on +250$12528.57%+$35.71
$50 on +500$25016.67%+$41.67

Alright, so what are bonus bets and how can we use them for profit on Tuesday? We'll sew up a parlay using the picks from our MLB expert best bets write-up to explain. With the above information in mind, we'll seek out a line longer than +250 odds with this parlay.

Tanner McGrath feels that betting the under of 10 for Reds-Red Sox is promising given both clubs present hot offenses with weak bullpens:

First, the Reds are having a tough month, ranking 23rd in wRC+ against right-handed pitching since the calendar flipped (90). Second, I think the market is finally catching up to the Red Sox – i.e., these totals are getting out of control. The Sox are 7-3 to the under over their past seven games.

Also, surprisingly, all four games between the Reds and Red Sox last year went under. Finally, both bullpens are fully rested after a day off on Monday. Also, I’m higher on the Boston bullpen than most, as I think the Kenley Jansen-Chris Martin-Josh Winckowski trio is actually pretty good. Either way, I’ll bet the under on this relatively high total and hope the game doesn’t get away from us in the later innings.

For the second leg, we'll add McGrath's pick on betting Twins F5 at -140 against the Astros due to Joe Ryan's dominance in the Twins rotation right now:

This Astros’ offense is not that impressive. And they’re in their worse split, given they project and perform better against southpaws. Meanwhile, the Twins have been a slightly above-average offense over the past two weeks, boasting a 106 wRC+. I’ve been very critical of these bats, but they might be turning things around. And maybe the return of Royce Lewis will put a huge jolt into this offense.

The bullpen matchup heavily favors the Astros – you saw Brock Stewart almost blow the game Monday by allowing a grand slam to Jose Altuve – so I’d rather avoid that matchup and back Ryan and the Twins in the first half. I’ll take Minnesota’s F5 ML up to (-150).

Finally, let's sprinkle in Charlie Disturco's notes on Padres ML at +220 against the Marlins given the metrics on Ryan Weathers vs. Sandy Alcantara:

Ryan Weathers will start opposite Alcantara on the mound, and I’m looking to buy low on Weathers after back-to-back starts with four earned runs. The left-hander relies on pitching to contact and doesn’t generate many swings and misses or chases, but he induces soft contact at an extremely high rate — which is critical with a low K%. Weathers’s xERA sits in the mid-3s and opponents have just a .232 xBA and .352 xSLG against the southpaw. When he first made it to the majors, he dealt with issues pertaining to barrels and hard contact, but that number has dropped 15% from his rookie season.

His command can sometimes be an issue, but the Marlins are 24th in BB% against left-handed pitching. While they are in their better split, this is a valuable opportunity to fade the Fish at plus-money. We’ve long talked about the Padres’ offense lagging behind and their inability to convert with runners in scoring position, but at plus-money with the better offense and a better bullpen, I would grab San Diego as an underdog here.

We skyrocket to +947 with this three-leg parlay for Tuesday. If everything hits with $100 in bonus bets on the line, we get $947 of profit back and won't keep the bonus bets. If the parlay misses, we get nothing.
