BetMGM Ohio Bonus Code Lands $1,500 in OH, Other States for Ohio State- Youngstown State, Week 2 NCAAF article feature image

The Ohio State Buckeyes enter Week 2 with what should be a breezy matchup against the Youngstown State Penguins. Ohio fans looking to wager an angle on this or any other Saturday NCAAF game can net up to $1,500 in bonus bets with the BetMGM Ohio bonus code TOPTAN1500.

This is an Action Network exclusive offer that gives users a 20% deposit match of up to $1,500.

The way is works is a $1,000 deposit will bank $200 in bonus bets. So, the maximum deposit associated with this offer is $7,500, as you can't earn more than $1,500 in bonus bets.

If you're looking for something more straight forward but for less value, wager with BetMGM bonus code ACTIONGET for a guaranteed $200 bonus bet following your first $10 bet. This comes back no matter how your first bet results.

Imagine if I signed up and placed $10 on the Buckeyes to cover the whopping 41.5 point spread. I would either get the payout plus $200 in winnings or just the $200. So the payout is really just extra in this case.

Both offers are available in all legal BetMGM states, except New York and Washington D.C.

We'll break down how to apply bonus bets the right way by using some of our best situational spots for Week 2 on Saturday.

BetMGM Ohio Bonus Code: Week 2 NCAAF Parlay

Before we dive in, we realize there’s a litany of promotional sportsbook language out there. This can become confusing between the ads at the bus stop and the internet pop-ups. We broke things down to simplify.

We want to play a plus-money prop and a popular way to do so is create a parlay. Here's three legs to our bonus bet example:

  • NC State +7.5 vs. Notre Dame:

believe the Pack knew they could hold off UConn with their defense and simply wanted to get out of dodge with an opening-season win on the road against a tricky opponent — similar to last year against East Carolina.

Situationally, the Pack will also benefit from two extra days of preparation and rest after playing on Thursday. They also have two games of film on Notre Dame — although I'm not sure how much they can actually take away from two blowouts against overmatched opponents.

In fairness, Notre Dame could certainly be much better than I have it rated right now, but I'll make the Irish prove it to me on the road here. I didn't expect to get over a touchdown before the season started, especially after not learning that much about either team yet.

  • Texas +7.5 at Alabama:

There certainly will be opportunities against an Alabama secondary that lost three starters to the NFL and had another two suffer injuries last week, especially if the Tide dare him to beat them deep — which I expect early — as TCU successfully did last year.

There isn't really a situational angle in this particular game, as you should get both teams' best shot in one of the most high-profile games of the season.

However, even with my lingering concerns over Ewers' footwork, I simply couldn't pass up taking over a touchdown in a matchup of two teams I currently have power-rated very close to even.

  • Texas Tech +7 vs. Oregon:

I'm buying low on Tech at home now that a generous 7 (at -115) has popped in the market in what some are calling a Tyler Shough revenge game. The former Oregon signal-caller should have success against a secondary that still must show me something against quality competition before I buy into significant improvement in Year 2 under Dan Lanning.

Finally, for what it's worth, I prefer to back these Red Raiders as an underdog (and avoid them as a favorite) due to head coach Joey McGuire's proclivity for going for it on fourth down, which increases variance and can serve as a potential equalizer both ways.

Texas Tech bounced back just fine the last time it lost to a Group of Five team, which came way back in 2009 under Mike Leach (RIP GOAT). I expect it to do the same this season.

If we parlay these picks together, we have +588 odds. We love anything above the +300 range for bonus betting, so this is just the right territory. If we wagered $100 in bonus bets, we'd have $588 in real cash if all three legs hit. We wouldn't have $688 because the $100 is taken back by the book.
