BetMGM Ohio Bonus Code Offers Different Value in OH vs. Other States for Any Game

BetMGM Bonus Codes, Explained

With the first bet on the house, you’ll make your first bet on the platform, and if it loses, you’ll be refunded in bet credits equal to whatever you lost.

Pretend you put $100 on Joe Burrow to score a (rushing) touchdown as your first bet. From Gilles Gallant’s anytime TD preview writeup:

He scored against the Ravens in the Wild Card Round and rushed for 31 yards in the Divisional Game against the Bills.

Burrow tallied 21 red zone carries in 2022 and scored at the goal line against the Chiefs in Week 13.

Though the Chiefs have only surrendered 10 rushing touchdowns this season, they were bottom five in rushing yards allowed to quarterbacks and gave up four touchdowns.

If the Bengals get within the five-yard line, I love my chances. This is my biggest long-shot bet of the day.

Understanding BetMGM Bet Credits

Bet credits work like this — you keep the winnings if the bet wins, but not the credit itself.

Say I had $50 in credits and put it on Devonta Smith to score a touchdown against the 49ers at +200. If Smith scores, I’ll profit $100 but don’t keep the $50. If Smith doesn’t score, I lose the credits.

We always recommend you make plus-money wagers with your bet credits, so taking spreads actually isn’t the best idea. You’re getting much more expected value, since you don’t keep the initial stake. The 49ers defense is undoubtedly a tough unit, but they can be thrown on. They gave up 16 touchdowns to wide receivers this season and were in the bottom five in passing yards allowed to the position.

As discussed by colleague Nick Giffen on Thursday’s Green Dot Daily, the 49ers have given up a pass of at least 25 yards in 11 straight games. In the Divisional Round, CeeDee Lamb racked up 117 yards on 10 catches, a big chunk of that yardage coming on a 46-yard chunk play.
