Caesars Sportsbook Promo Code Nets up to $1,250 for Tuesday NHL & More

Caesars Sportsbook Promo Code Nets up to $1,250 for Tuesday NHL & More article feature image

New York's fabled hockey rivalry takes to the ice Tuesday night as the Rangers will host the Islanders for their second meeting in 12 days.

The Rangers will look to even the season series at 1-1 after the Islanders mustered a 4-0 victory on Oct. 27. In the meantime, Caesars Sportsbook will continue their two promo codes to use on any sport or event Tuesday:

  • ACTION4FULL, which gets users in any location up to $1,250 in first-bet insurance when they place a bet on anything Tuesday and;
  • ACTIONTIX, an exclusive offer to Ohio users that grants a free $100 upon betting $20+ and also gives entry into a weekly ticket drawing for Cleveland Cavaliers tickets.

First-Bet Insurance Preview: Islanders-Rangers

These offers are designed to get free bets, but in different ways:

ACTION4FULL gives new users the chance to bet anything up to $1,250. If the bet loses, you will be refunded whatever you waged in free bets.

ACTIONTIX lets new users in Ohio bet at least $20 to receive a guaranteed $100 in free bets regardless of the result. They will also get the weekly raffle entry for Cavs tickets.

We advise using plus-money wagers on promo bets. So, let's preview how to approach Islanders-Rangers Tuesday to find one.

New York Islanders:  +158 at Caesars Sportsbook

Lane Lambert's new regime has been a surprising shot in the arm for this Islanders offense. Matt Barzal, Anders Lee and Brock Nelson each have 13+ points with 13 games played. After Barry Trotz left a team with back-to-back Conference Finals visits in 2020 and 2021 and zero offseason acquisitions, it was public opinion that the Islanders would take a dip in the Metropolitan Division.

The Islanders have won six of their last seven games and sit at 8-5 on the back of brilliant netminding from Ilya Sorokin, who shut the Rangers out in the last meeting. Veteran backup Semyon Varlamov will get the nod Tuesday. The 34-year-old holds a 2.90 GAA in four starts and is 12-8-2 all-time against the Blueshirts.

After an OT victory against Calgary Monday, the Isles will attempt the difficult task of grabbing all four points in a back-to-back against an erratic Rangers team. The Islanders will be at full-health.

New York Rangers: -190 at Caesars Sportsbook

It's still too early to hit the panic button, but the Rangers have not produced as projected in recent. The 6-4-3 Blueshirts dropped a big litmus-test game against the on-fire Bruins followed by an OT loss to the far inferior Red Wings. So, where does this leave the Rangers? Who are expected by many to make a Cup run in 2022.

Igor Shesterkin will get his first licks in with the Islanders tonight. The 2022 Vezina Trophy winner is responsible for all six victories thus far and holds a 2.41 GAA. But yet, he still hasn't been the same insurance policy the Rangers fell back on time-and-time again last season. Shesterkin hasn't has the best fate against the Isles — posting an .889 SV% and 1-8-1 record in his career against them. He's lost back-to-back starts only nine times in parts of four seasons.

The Rangers have hampered several on-and-off injuries through their 13-game campaign. Ryan Lindgren and Julien Gauthier are both day-to-day and Vitali Kravtsov remains out. The Rangers have the better team 5-on-5 and wield one of the NHL's most creative, exciting power plays.

Their top six forward group is due to cash in on a much bigger effort Tuesday; specifically Chris Kreider, who was demoted to elicit response.

Pick: Rangers Puck Line -1.5 +150

Applying First-Bet Insurance

We're going to say we bet $100 on Rangers -1.5. This is what would happen with first-bet insurance:

  1. The Rangers cover: We score $150 and keep our $100 deposit for a total payout of $250.
  2. The Rangers don't cover: We receive $100 in free bets.

*If you're in Ohio and are using ACTIONTIX for the bet $20, get $100 plus Cavs ticket entry offer, the above would work the same. The only difference is you will get $100 in free bets win or lose.

There are 11 games on slate for Tuesday night. Watch for how our Action Network analysts are betting across the board with NHL Best Bets:

What to Expect with Free Bets:

Free bets are a second chance. You can place bets with them, but can't withdraw them as cash. You do keep the profits if the bet wins.

Keep in mind: if you lose this time around, you have nothing. That's where the risk shows up. So free bets are not necessarily risk-free.

Like I mentioned above for promo bets, it's best to seek plus-money for free bets, too. You see more expected value over time this way.

Expected value is the margin between the real odds of something happening and the what the sportsbook says the odds are.

Suppose the Rangers bet falls through. We use our $100 in free bets and place it on this two-leg parlay on Wednesday:

Canucks -1.5+176
Panthers ML-114
Penguins/Capitals Over 6.5-106
    Here's what you can expect:
  • The parlay hits: We've won ourselves $906, but the $100 in free bets is gone. We still profited $806 since our deposit.
  • The parlay misses: We get $0.
