The Baltimore Ravens are set to square off with the Cincinnati Bengals for the AFC Wild Card Sunday all while Caesars Sportsbook promo code ACTION4FULL banks up to $1,250 for any bet on the contest.

If you’re in Ohio, there’s a $1,500-worth code called ACTION41BET. Here’s what we’re looking at.

  • Caesars Ohio promo code: ACTION41BET
  • All other states: ACTION4FULL

OK, so in short, this just means if you bet $10 on Ravens moneyline priced at +360, you enjoy a $46 payout. But if the Bengals win, your bet loses and you get the $10 back in bet credits at Caesars. You can bet anything up to $1,250 with this safety net in place for your first wager.

Caesars has the Bengals pegged as favorites by 8.5 and -450 on the moneyline. If we want to find value, it’s either getting creative with a same game parlay or identifying some reasonable player props in what could be a nasty follow up to Week 18’s emotions. We’ll unravel how this is going to work if you should decide to bet with Caesars on Sunday’s Wild Card entertainment.

Baltimore Ravens (+360) vs. Cincinnati Bengals (-450) at Caesars

When the Ravens stumped the Bengals 19-17 in Week 5, there was one obvious and critical difference to the playing field on Sunday night: Lamar Jackson. Jackson will miss his sixth consecutive game and leave the Ravens in a precarious position against the No. 5 ranked defense and No. 8 ranked offense in Cincinnati. Tyler Huntley will step back in after missing Week 18 and attempt to compensate in the Ravens offense.

Huntley has been underwhelming in his five games to say the least. The third-year pro has garnered two touchdowns with three interceptions and has netted out to a lousy 131.6 passing yards per game. He’ll need to find a pulse with Mark Andrews, who since Huntley came under center, has been a mere shell of his usual self; he’s tallied 31 yards per game and zero touchdowns in Huntley’s three starts.

The Ravens still wield a top ten offense in rushing yards and touchdowns, even despite a lot of that thanks to Jackson. He’s still the team’s leading rusher with 764 yards. But J.K. Dobbins was out most of the season and has provided a shot in the arm for the Ravens in his four games since return (99.2 YPG and a score).

Cincinnati could make things ugly early if the Ravens can’t find a solution for the cannonry at Joe Burrow’s disposal. Burrow himself put together another fine campaign completing 68.2% of his passes for 279.6 YPG and 35 touchdown slings, which landed him at at T2 overall. He’ll look to Ja’Marr Chase (1,046 yards, 12 YPC and 9 TDs) and Tee Higgins (1,029 yards, 13.1 YPC and 7 TDs) as the downfield threats with Joe Mixon (58.1 YPG and 9 total TDs) out of the backfield.

Placing the Bet & Using Bet Credits

Once we’re signed up with the code, the first bet placed will be the promo. We don’t want anything with juice, so it’s good to look for a less likely, more lucrative bet. The Bengals are 12-4 ATS and 6-1 at home while the Ravens 8-9 and 5-4, respectively. We’ll create a parlay assuming the Bengals put forth a dominant performance.

The Pick: Bengals -8.5 + over 40.5 at +264

We fork down $100 on this. In the case it hits, we have a $364 payout. But a loss gives us the $100 back in bet credits to use moving forward.

In the end it’s all about your expected value, which is winnings over time. That’s why you should always seek plus-money (+250, +300, +500 etc.). Try not to focus on how many bets you win or lose.

If the bet is lost, we have $100 in bet credits. Using them is pretty simple: We can only bet with them; we can’t withdraw. So we’ll say that we place $100 down on Brady and the Bucs to upset the Cowboys in Tampa at +118. Brady’s undefeated in his career against Dallas, so it’s not a bad notion. If they pull it off, we win $118 and the bet credits go away. But if they lose, we have nothing.
