The Indianapolis Colts signed Philip Rivers on Tuesday, adding a veteran QB to a roster that looks primed for a playoff run.

PointsBet Sportsbook, which is now live with online betting in Indiana, has officially frozen its prices on the Colts for 48 hours as a way to celebrate Rivers’ arrival in the Hoosier State.

All new and existing PointsBet customers have access to the following wagers until Thursday, March 19:

  • Colts to win the Super Bowl +3000 (should be +2500)
  • Colts to win the AFC +1500 (should be +1200)
  • Colts to win the AFC South +200 (should be +160)

You can find these bets in the PointsBet app, on both the homepage and under Menu > Colts Price Freeze.

You’re welcome to take advantage of all three of the above wagers if you so choose, but if you only want to bet one, the AFC South prop is the best value from a mathematical standpoint.

The +200 you get imply there’s about a 33.3% chance of the Colts winning their division, while +160 (the price it should be based on Rivers’ arrival) equals a 38.5% chance. So you’re getting more than a 5% edge on the house for free. That’s substantial.

It’s also worth noting: If you’re a NEW PointsBet customer either in Indiana or New Jersey, you get access to some great offers, in addition to claiming the promotions laid out above:

  • Deposit $50, Get $100 in Bonus Bets instantly
  • Deposit $150, Get $150 in Bonus Bets instantly
  • Deposit $250, Get $250 in Bonus Bets instantly

You can use the Bonus Bets on any bets you’d like and withdraw whatever you’re able to turn them into (in other words, there’s only a 1x rollover).

Check out PointsBet in Indiana and New Jersey to take advantage of this offer before it expires on Thursday!
