Raiders-Rams Bet Preview

Los Angeles presents a ripe opportunity to open flood gates for the NFL’s No. 1 rusher and No. 4 receiver in Josh Jacobs and Davante Adams, respectively. The two have combined for 1,005 total yards throughout the Raiders three-game win streak. That’s only 170 yards fewer than the Rams have had in total offense throughout their last three games.

Sean McVay may run a tight ship as the Rams boast a defense that’s ranked fourth in rushing yards allowed. But given the offensive skill advantage Vegas has plus how depleted the L.A. offense is, it may be difficult for John Wolford to stay on the field. That said, Jacobs should see ample chances to rack up yardage on a team that has yet to allow a 100-yard rusher.

The Rams aren’t as stingy against the pass. They rank No. 22 in pass yards and T18 in pass touchdowns allowed. Davante Adams leads the league with 12 touchdowns and is averaging 98.25 yards per game. I expect Derek Carr to feed Adams every chance he gets averaging 11.25 targets per game to his former college pass-catcher.

Betting With FanDuel’s Maryland Promo

The rule is simple: Bet longshots, see more profits throughout your betting career. Here’s a parlay for how I’m betting Thursday Night Football:

Bet Line
Josh Jacobs 88.5+ Yards -114
Davante Adams 89.5+ Receiving Yards -114
Total +285

Think of this like a normal bet, but win or lose, you see $200 in free bets back.

So you bet $5 on this parlay. You win $14.25, get your $5 back for a payout of $19.25 if the bet hits.

Plus, you also get the $200 and have a total of $219.25. But if this doesn’t hit, you have the $200 in free bets.

What Are Free Bets?

Free bets don’t have to be all used at once, so you can place multiple bets with portions of your free bets. But, they can only be used to wager — you cannot withdraw them. They

If the bet wins, you’ll get the profits, but the free bets are gone. Should it lose, and you are not staked with free bets again. You will just lose your wager.

Keep in mind, they will expire if you do not use them within the given window, which is one week. Also, they can’t be used to bet with other FanDuel promotions either.

OK, so you take all $200 and drop it on the Browns to upset the Bengals at +205 on Sunday afternoon.

Here’s some spark notes on Browns-Bengals per Evan Abrams Week 14 Betting Primer:

Browns are one of eight teams in the NFL whose games have gone over the total more than under the total this season (CHI, PHI, DET, SEA, ARI, MIN, GB).

The Browns have gotten the ground game going rushing for over 150 yards in consecutive games. Under Kevin Stefanski, Browns are 1-6 SU/ATS in its last seven games after rushing for over 150 yards in consecutive games dating back to last season.

In 11 games with Jacoby Brissett, Browns produced NFL’s fifth-ranked offense (EPA per drive). Behind only: Chiefs, Bills, Dolphins, Eagles. Defense (28th in EPA/drive) and bad luck in one-score games more to blame for 4-7 record.

Browns have now won two straight games. Cleveland is 1-8 SU and 2-7 ATS under Stefanski in their last 9 games after a SU win.

A Browns victory would mean a $410 payout. You don’t keep the $200. But a loss would put you back to $0. You’ll still have whatever amount remaining from your initial deposit that you didn’t bet.
