Indiana vs. Nebraska Big Ten Tournament Odds Boost: Win $10 for Every 3-Pointer Made
You may have heard: BetMGM is officially live with mobile betting in Indiana, and it’s great timing. The 2020 Big Ten Tournament gets underway on Wednesday night from Indianapolis AND the hometown favorite Hoosiers play on Night 1.
BetMGM wants you to kick off March right, so it’s offering the following promotion to new customers in Indiana: Bet $10 on IU-Nebraska and win $10 for EVERY 3-pointer that’s made in the game.
That could add up to a lot of winnings: If the Hoosiers and Cornhuskers hit their season averages (13.3 threes per game), you’d walk away with $130 in free bets.
Not bad, right? But let’s keep digging … Here are the number of 3s made in the two games Indiana and Nebraska played this season: 17 and 17. If it happens again on Wednesday night, that’d mean $170 in free bets!
Here’s how you can claim this offer if you’re a new BetMGM customer:
- Step 1: Click this link
- Step 2: Enter the bonus code ACTION when registering
- Step 3: Deposit at least $10 into your MGM account via your preferred method
- Step 4: Place at least a $10 bet on the Indiana or Nebraska moneyline as your FIRST wager
Important note: You do NOT need to be an Indiana resident to be eligible for this promotion; you simply need to be within the state of Indiana when placing your bet.
Now that we’ve got the nuts and bolts out of the way, let’s have a little fun. You may be wondering what a realistic ceiling is for this promotion, given what we’ve seen from Indiana and Nebraska this season.
To find that answer, we examined the box scores for all of their Big Ten games and found that the Cornhuskers’ best output from beyond the arc in conference play was 12 threes on two different occasions, while Indiana’s top performance came against Iowa on Feb. 13 (11 threes).
You can’t REALLY expect both teams to hit their ceilings in the same game, but you do have this going for you: Both of these teams struggle defending the 3, allowing nearly 16 combined makes from deep per game.
Plenty of signals point toward this being a 3-point shootout, which is great news if you’re planning on taking advantage of this promotion in Indiana tonight.
Check out BetMGM Indiana and claim this offer prior to Wednesday’s IU-Nebraska game (8:25 p.m. ET).
