Ohio Sports Betting Officially Live — Everything to Know at State Launch

Ohio sports betting is officially live! Sportsbooks across the state have opened their virtual and retail doors for Ohio's sports betting launch at 12 a.m. ET on Sunday.
All in all, there are 22 online sportsbook licenses approved in Ohio so far, although many of those books won’t launch right on New Year’s Day.
For those sportsbooks that are officially live in Ohio at launch, though, fans can sign up, deposit and start placing bets immediately.

Retail sports betting also launched in Ohio at 12 a.m. ET on Sunday, with several sportsbooks opening their retail doors throughout the day.
The Ohio state legislature voted in December 2021 to legalize sports betting, with Ohio's governor signing the bill into law shortly thereafter. Ohio becomes the 32nd state (plus Washington, D.C.) to have live, legal sports betting. Of those, 22 states have legalized and launched mobile betting in some form, including Ohio, of course.
