Let's talk more about PrizePicks examples for Tuesday's schedule of action below.

How to Create a PrizePicks Lineup

OK, so your map to success is picking players from any sport or league that has events happening that day and projecting whether they will over or under perform.

There is a stat line for each player. You can pick between a vast selection of stats depending on the sport, so if you're looking at NBA players, there are points, rebounds, assists, 3-pointers and combos to add.

Your lineup must include at least two picks, but can include up to six.

There are two ways to win payouts with your lineup: getting all of your picks correct or winning in a group competition.

As you increase the number of picks, the potential payout also grows. For instance, a basic two-pick lineup offers a 3X payout (e.g., a $10 bet wins $30), while a six-pick lineup can yield a maximum payout of 25X.

Here's a four-player lineup I created for Tuesday:

  • Caitlin Clark more than 21.5 points
  • Anthony Edwards more than 40.5 PRA
  • Sonny Gray more than 6.5 strikeouts
  • Connor McDavid more than 3.5 shots on goal

This four-player lineup would yield a 10X payout if all four eclipse the projection listed.

If you decide to go the group route, you'll be grouped with other PrizePicks members after submitting your lineup. Each member in a group will have an equal number of picks in their lineups for the sake of fairness. You'll be matched based on your Experience Level: Rookies will compete with other Rookies, while All-Stars and Superstars will be grouped together.

Points are awarded based on the outcomes of picks in each lineup, and members with the highest scores in each group win. In the event of a tie for first place, payouts are adjusted based on the total number of winners. Each correct pick earns 1 point, while projections marked as a Tie or a DNP earn 0.5 points. Reboots and incorrect picks do not score any points.
