We had a solid day yesterday and have started today on the right foot, going 2-1 in our World Cup plays. Now we turn our attention to the evening and the action in front of us. We have some good matchups, brother. Lots of aces on the mound across MLB, Aces on the hardwood in WNBA action and aces up our sleeves. We leave no stone unturned when we look for winners. We leave no corner unsearched and we leave no room for error. We need to get wins tonight, and have them we shall.

WINNERS

Boston Red Sox (-173) at Minnesota Twins

This is a great matchup between Chris Sale of the Red Sox and Jose Berrios for the Twins. Both pitchers have been having very, very good seasons and at times have been dominant. Facing off against one another should amplify this matchup, and I expect runs to be at a premium. The Red Sox are the better team offensively, but laying that much juice isn't appetizing. Let's play the total instead.

THE PICK: Under 7

Texas Rangers (-135) at Kansas City Royals

This one comes down to Cole Hamels for me. He has been mediocre at home but very good on the road this season. He is 2-1 with a 2.40 ERA, and opponents are hitting just .209 against him away from Arlington. I'll take those numbers combined with a below-average Royals offense, and I'll lay a little juice on this one.

THE PICK: Texas Rangers ML

Las Vegas Aces at Seattle Storm (-11)

10 p.m. ET

This is an interesting game because the Aces are not one of the better teams in the WNBA, whereas the Storm are very talented. The issue with the Storm is inconsistency. They have shown they can beat the best teams in the league such as Los Angeles and Connecticut, but then they lose games to the likes of Dallas and Atlanta. There is not consistent output from the Storm night after night. Vegas is 4-4 ATS on the road, while the Storm are just 3-4 ATS in Seattle. Eleven is too many points with factors that lean that way.

THE PICK: Las Vegas Aces +11

Let's get out there and cash some tickets, baby! Also be sure to follow all my picks on the Sports Action app here.
