The Brewers have their backs against the wall on Friday night so you can bet that Craig Counsell will have some tricks up his sleeve.

Wade Miley will make his second "start" in a row after he faced a grand total of one batter in Game 5. He walked Cody Bellinger and then gave way to Brandon Woodruff.

The plan was put in place by Counsell to set the Dodgers up. He knew that Dave Roberts would load his lineup with right-handed hitters against the left-handed Miley. Whether or not that's the strategy again in Game 6 remains to be seen.

What does all of this mean for those of us wagering on the game?

I think you'll see absolutely all hands on deck for Milwaukee as it tries to force a Game 7. That means all-world reliever Josh Hader could be called on for three or even four innings. Corey Knebel and Jeremy Jeffress will also be ready for whatever is asked of them.

Those arms should make life really hard on the Dodgers for a good chunk of the game.

The Dodgers will start Hyun-Jin Ryu and they should be confident in the 31-year-old southpaw as he's been superb since coming off the disabled list on August 15.

Ryu posted a 1.88 ERA in his last nine starts of the regular season and picked up right where he left off in the postseason, giving up two runs on 10 hits in 11 1/3 innings. Ryu has 12 strikeouts without a walk this postseason.

With Ryu going the way he is and the Brewers having a fully rested bullpen, I think there's plenty of value on the Under 8 at Miller Park. Neither manager will let things get out of hand before calling on someone else and that should result in a tight one.

The Bet: Under 8
