MLB Sharp Report: Pros Betting 3 NL Games on Saturday

- Sharp bettors have found value in three small favorites/dogs Saturday night, all in the National League.
Sharp bettors keep plugging along after the All-Star break and are making up for early season losses. With nearly all of Saturday's MLB games starting at night, they've been patiently picking out value on small favorites/underdogs.
After analyzing the remaining 15-game slate, I’ve identified three bets that sharp money has focused on (all bets risk one unit).

Philadelphia Phillies at Cincinnati Reds
- Sharp angle: Reds (+112)
- First pitch 6:40 p.m. ET
Matt Harvey is not getting any love for Cincinnati, as the Reds are the least popular bet of the day with just 18% of tickets. At four of the squarest offshore sportsbooks around the market, Cincy is getting even less support with just 10% of the bets. Philadelphia is clearly the public darling on Saturday night.
Despite the extremely lopsided support, the line has barely budged off the opening number. There was even a small reverse-line move toward the Reds overnight, signaling that sharp money is picking its spot on Cincinnati.
Oakland Athletics at Colorado Rockies
- Sharp angle: Rockies (-123)
- First pitch 8:10 p.m. ET
The Athletics were hot last week, but a trip to Coors Field cooled them off in a 3-1 loss Friday night. Public bettors are all over Oakland once again, though; the A's are receiving 72% of bets as road underdogs. The A's will send lefty Brett Anderson to the mound against one of the league's best home lineups against southpaws.
With an absurdly high total of 12 runs, it could be a long night for the Oakland pitching staff. If you like to fade trendy underdogs, Colorado is in a perfect contrarian value spot as a small -123 favorite.
Milwaukee Brewers at San Francisco Giants

- First pitch 9:05 p.m. ET
Milwaukee won the first two games of the series in San Francisco by scores of 7-5 and 3-1, and the Brewers will look to continue the streak Saturday night after acquiring Mike Moustakas from the Royals. Sharp bettors expect the Brew Crew to keep rolling, as they've been steamed twice around the betting market and were hit with another reverse-line move late Friday night. After opening as +111 underdogs, the Brewers are now listed as -108 favorites.
