Editor's note: NASCAR's Alsco Uniforms 500 was postponed until Thursday (7 p.m. ET, FS1) due to rain.

Nobody is a bigger Tyler Reddick fan than me, but even I was impressed with how well he ran on Sunday night.

I expected him to be fast this season on tracks with big tire falloff, like Darlington Raceway, but was in a wait-and-see mode at places like Charlotte, which don't see as much tire wear.

Well, I waited and saw Reddick finished eighth in the Coke 600. (Reddick originally finished in the ninth position, but moved up one place after Jimmie Johnson's second-place finish was disqualified for a failed post-race inspection.)

With Reddick primed for another solid run tonight at Charlotte, here's how I'm looking to take advantage.

NASCAR at Charlotte Prop Betting Pick

Reddick will start ahead of most of the favorites and should be better than a handful of the drivers starting in front of him who earned those positions simply by the qualifying inversion, not speed.

And because Reddick qualified fifth for the Coke 600 on Sunday, he had the luxury of being fifth in line to pick his pit stall for tonight's race, which is a significant advantage for him over the majority of the field whenever drivers are forced to hit pit road.

There's a very real scenario in which Reddick, who is starting 13th, is able to drive into the top 10 and hold that track position.

Remember, this race is short — just 208 laps compared to 400 laps in Sunday's Coca-Cola 600 — and it's very possible that he's in contention late, with plenty of speed and a great pit stall.

PointsBet has Reddick priced at +150 for a top-10 finish in the Alsco Uniforms 500, which is a smart way to back him tonight.

The bet: Tyler Reddick (+150) to finish in the top 10
