Monday's NBA Injury News

The Philadelphia 76ers are still down to a limited amount of eligible players to play on Monday after several Sixers players were required to quarantine due to Seth Curry's positive COVID test. Tobias Harris, Shake Milton, Matisse Thybulle, Vincent Poirier and Curry remain in quarantine. Ben Simmons will remain out as well due to a sore knee that flared up last Thursday.

Mike Scott, who has been dealing with knee soreness, was active Saturday, but did not play. He's expected to be active for Monday's game against the Atlanta Hawks and could see time if necessary.

Joel Embiid is expected to return to the lineup after missing Saturday's loss with a tight back. If Embiid is cleared to play, he'll likely be one of eight eligible players in the contest for the Sixers.

The Dallas Mavericks will see their second star, Kristaps Porzingis, on the floor for Monday's game agains the New Orleans Pelicans.

Prior to the report from Shams Charania that Porzingis was playing, our tool was projecting the possibility.

Per our NBA Insiders tool:

Porzingis has been upgraded to questionable on the latest injury report in advance of Monday's game. He has yet to make his season debut after recovering from right knee surgery … Porzingis is currently in the probable starting lineup, but it's likely he'll have a minutes limit if he's able to suit up.

In addition, the Washington Wizards ruled Russell Westbrook out. The team announced Westbrook will miss at least a week with a quad injury.
