Thursday NBA Injury News

9 p.m. ET Update: Dennis Schroder is a late scratch from Thursday's game against the Nets due to the health and safety protocols.

6 p.m. ET Update: Kyle Lowry is out of tonight's game against the Bucks and is expected to miss the Raptors' Friday game as well. Kyrie Irving and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot have been cleared to play Thursday vs. the Lakers.

With just three games on the schedule tonight, the key injury news to watch is centered around two All-Star guards.

Kyrie Irving is listed as probable for tonight's anticipated matchup with the Los Angeles Lakers. Irving missed the Brooklyn Nets' last game in Phoenix with a tight back, but that game also fell on the second night of a back-to-back for the Nets. Kevin Durant will miss his third game in a row with a hamstring injury and there's no word on when he'll be back in the lineup.

Kyle Lowry is also questionable to play Thursday after leaving the Toronto Raptors' game on Tuesday with a sore ankle. Lowry played just 22 minutes and left for good in the third quarter. He has missed just three games for the Raptors this season.

In the other late game on the slate, the Sacramento Kings will be without Harrison Barnes and Richaun Holmes when they take on the Miami Heat at home. Barnes suffered a strained foot on Sunday and Holmes missed the Kings' game on Tuesday with a knee ailment.
