  • There are three games on Tuesday's slate: 76ers-Pistons, Clippers-Pelicans and Kings-Nuggets.
  • There are also three key injured players for bettors and DFS players to monitor: Ben Simmons, Andre Drummond and Will Barton.

There are just three games on Tuesday's NBA slate:

  • Philadelphia 76ers (-2.5) at Detroit Pistons | O/U: 219
  • LA Clippers at New Orleans Pelicans (-6.5) | O/U: 238
  • Sacramento Kings at Denver Nuggets (-11) | O/U: 227

Here are a few key injuries tonight that could have a big impact on the betting and DFS markets.

Note: The information below is as of 10 a.m. ET. For up-to-the-minute news and analysis, check out our live news feed and follow us on Twitter.

76ers wing Ben Simmons (back) is doubtful.

DFS: Simmons missed Monday's practice with lower back tightness and is officially listed as doubtful for Tuesday's contest vs. the Pistons. Joel Embiid was the biggest beneficiary last season with Simmons off the court, seeing a team-high usage increase of +3.4% and averaging 1.47 DraftKings points per minute.

Markelle Fultz has seen the largest usage increase with Simmons off the floor this season and could see a few additional minutes if Simmons does miss Tuesday's contest.

JJ Redick would likely be the most logical candidate to replace Simmons in the starting lineup, and he's averaged 1.31 DraftKings points per minute with Simmons off the floor this season.

Betting: Oddsmakers are a bit split on Simmons' value to the spread. Per our preseason story, it views Simmons being worth three points to the spread, whereas CG Technology has him at just one point of value.

Pistons center Andre Drummond (illness) is questionable.

DFS: Drummond missed Monday's practice because of the flu, and he is a game-time decision before Tuesday's game vs. the Sixers. Drummond has struggled with foul trouble in the first two games, and when he's been off the court, Zaza Pachulia has been the main reserve center, while Blake Griffin has averaged an absurd 2.47 DraftKings points per minute in a 22-minute sample.

Griffin and Reggie Jackson have each claimed a usage rate north of 30% when Drummond has been on the bench. Drummond struggled to provide value against the Sixers last season, stemming from foul trouble, and he won't be an appealing target if cleared to play.

Betting: Like with Simmons, books are split on Drummond's value.

Nuggets wing Will Barton (groin) is out.

DFS: Barton has been diagnosed with a strained groin. He was carted off the court during Saturday's win, and he doesn't have a timetable for a return.

During his absence, Torrey Craig and Juancho Hernangomez will likely see an increase in role. Barton's absence will also force Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray to handle more playmaking responsibilities in the starting lineup.

Betting: According to CG Technology, Barton is not worth any points to the spread. The Nuggets are a perfect 3-0 ATS this season, and despite overs hitting at a historical rate, the under has gone 3-0 in all three of their games.
