  • The NBA Injury Report is a daily piece that runs through the slate's key injuries and their betting and DFS impact.
  • There are two key teams with injuries to analyze on Monday night: the Washington Wizards and Golden State Warriors.
  • Below we'll detail the impact of the injuries to Draymond Green, Otto Porter and more.

There are seven games tonight with a lot of injuries and questionable players. We’ll analyze two key situations in this piece: the Washington Wizards at New York Knicks and the Golden State Warriors at Atlanta Hawks.

Wizards F Otto Porter Jr. (toe) is questionable, F Jeff Green (back) is probable.

Injury background: Porter Jr. was originally listed as out in Sunday’s injury report but has since been upgraded to questionable. Jeff Green (back) remains probable.

Tonight’s impact: Tomas Satoransky started ahead of Kelly Oubre in the last game, and coach Scott Brooks will likely continue to start Satoransky.

Markieff Morris has been the primary backup center behind Thomas Bryant with Dwight Howard (back) sidelined, and he’s been solid in his new role. Green started the last game Porter missed but was limited to 22 minutes in a 25-point loss and briefly left the game after banging his head on the court.

The Knicks have been one of the worst defenses this season, and it’ll be a solid fantasy matchup for John Wall and Bradley Beal.

Porter is likely not worth any points to the spread, although his on/off numbers suggest he’s a valuable player. Per Cleaning the Glass, the Wizards have been 7.8 points per 100 possessions better with him on the court vs. off this season.

Warriors C Damion Jones (pectoral) is out definitely, PF Draymond Green (toe) remains out.

Injury background: The team announced this morning that Green will miss at least the next three games with a sprained right toe. Jones has officially been diagnosed with a torn left pectoral muscle and his long-term status will be updated after meeting with a specialist.

Tonight’s impact: With Jones out, Kevon Looney is a candidate to replace him in the starting lineup while Jordan Bell will also see his minutes increase. Stephen Curry returned on Saturday and played 37 minutes, and him and Kevin Durant will likely be tournament options as heavy favorites against the Hawks on Monday.

Overall on the season, Durant has averaged 1.41 DraftKings points per minute, Curry has averaged 1.39 and Klay Thompson has been at 0.96. With all three of those players on the court and Draymond off, those numbers have dipped to 1.10, 1.08 and 0.60, respectively. The sample size is less than 100 minutes, however, and the matchup against the fast-paced Hawks is too juicy to ignore.

Overall, the betting market is likely unaffected by these absences, especially since Draymond has been out for a couple weeks at this point. The Warriors are currently 11-point favorites on the road.
