  • Chris Raybon breaks down his favorite NBA player props for Monday night.
  • Props include Thunder SF Paul George's assists and Trail Blazers PF Al-Farouq Aminu's rebounds.

The two NBA player props highlighted below are from the following two games:

  • Oklahoma City Thunder at Memphis Grizzlies: 8 p.m. ET
  • Brooklyn Nets at Portland Trail Blazers: 10 p.m. ET

As a reminder, our FantasyLabs NBA Player Props Tool leverages our projections against odds offered at various sportsbooks and grades each prop on a scale of 1 to 10. All odds as of 4 p.m. ET. View live odds here.

Thunder SF Paul George

THE PICK: Under 4.5 Assists (-140)

George tends to assert himself more as a scorer than a facilitator on the road, averaging a 30.3% Usage Rate and 4.0 assists in 37.5 minutes per game outside of OKC compared to a 28.6% Usage Rate and 4.5 assists in 35.8 minutes per game on his home floor.

For the season, George is averaging 3.9 assists per 36 minutes with Russell Westbrook on the court, so George will likely struggle to exceed expectations in that department against a Memphis defense that has allowed 23.9 assist per game since the All-Star break, tied for eighth-fewest in the league.

PG13 has dished five or more in just 24-of-60 (60%) games with Russ active, so this prop should have value up to -150.

Blazers PF Al-Farouq Aminu

THE PICK: Over 5.5 Rebounds (-122)

Aminu is averaging 7.4 rebounds in 28.4 minutes per game this season and snatched 10 in 30 minutes against the Nets on Feb. 21.

With Rodions Kurucs averaging only 7.8 field goal attempts as a starting 4 for the Nets, Aminu shouldn't have to contest many shots and should instead be able to focus on rebounding against a Nets squad that has allowed the second-most rebounds per 48 minutes in the league to power forwards since the All-Star break (12.1, per Hoops Stats).

Aminu has pulled down at least six rebounds in 53-of-72 (73.6%) games overall and at least seven rebounds in 45-of-72 (62.5%), so this prop should have value up to over 6.5 at -167.

I usually throw a few more prop picks in the Action Network App throughout the night as I do more research and lineup news trickles in, so be sure to follow me there as well.
