- Wednesday's 10-game NBA slate features two player prop bets offering value
- This piece will focus on Spurs C Jakob Poeltl and Rockets F P.J. Tucker
Wednesday’s best NBA player props focus on two of the slate’s 10 games:
- San Antonio Spurs at Memphis Grizzlies: 8 p.m. ET
- Milwaukee Bucks at Houston Rockets: 8 p.m. ET on ESPN
As a reminder, you can dig deeper on these and many other prop bets by using our FantasyLabs NBA Player Props Tool. It leverages our projections against five of the most popular online sportsbooks and grades each prop on a scale of one to 10.
Spurs C Jakob Poeltl
The Pick: Over 5.5 rebounds (-165 at Bovada)
The over is juiced pretty heavily on this prop, but it’s easy to see why: Poeltl has ripped down at least six rebounds in each of his past four games. He could also be asked to play a few additional minutes today to combat the size of the Memphis Grizzlies on the interior.
He’s currently projected for 24.5 minutes in the FantasyLabs NBA Models and will likely remain in the starting lineup with Rudy Gay still nursing a wrist injury.
This prop has a Bet Quality of 10 using the Player Prop tool, and I like it up to -200.
Rockets F P.J. Tucker
The Pick: Under 8.5 points (-135 at Bovada)
Tucker exploded for 21 points on seven 3s in his most recent contest, which makes this an excellent time to sell high on him.
That game was a major outlier: He had scored five points or fewer in each of the past five games. The NBA’s sneaker king is also in a difficult spot against the Bucks, who rank fourth in defensive efficiency this season.
I expect the majority of Tucker’s energy to be focused on defending Giannis Antetokounmpo, so I love the under at the current inflated number. I’d play it up to -160.
