  • Saturday's six-game NBA slate features three player prop bets offering value
  • This piece will focus on Lakers F Kyle Kuzma, Timberwolves PF Dario Saric, and Suns F T.J. Warren

Friday’s three best NBA player props focus on two of the slate’s six games:

  • Los Angeles Lakers at Charlotte Hornets: 7 p.m. ET
  • Minnesota Timberwolves at Phoenix Suns: 9 p.m. ET

As a reminder, you can dig deeper on these and many other prop bets by using our FantasyLabs NBA Player Props Tool. It leverages our projections against five of the most popular online sportsbooks and grades each prop on a scale of one to 10.

Lakers F Kyle Kuzma

The Pick: Over 21 points (+110)

Kuzma is a proven scorer, and he’s seen a nice boost in playing time recently. He’s played at least 34 minutes in six of his past seven games, and he’s scored at least 22 points in five of them.

The Lakers are in a great spot today vs. the Charlotte Hornets, who are coming off an overtime game and are playing on the second leg of a back-to-back.

LA is implied for 114.25 points, which is the second-highest mark on the slate.

As long as Kuzma continues to play big minutes, he should continue to score the basketball at a high level. I love getting this prop at better than even money, but wouldn't pay more than -130 juice.

Timberwolves PF Dario Saric

The Pick: Over 12 points (-115)

Saric has seen his numbers decline as a member of the Timberwolves, but he has actually been a more efficient scorer on a per-minute basis.

He’s averaging 16.6 points per 36 minutes since joining the Timberwolves but averaged just 13.1 points per 36 minutes with the 76ers earlier this season.

The biggest reason for the drop in his overall numbers has been a reduction in minutes, but that shouldn’t be a problem on today’s slate: Taj Gibson has been ruled out for personal reasons, and Saric is currently projected for 33 minutes in our FantasyLabs NBA Models.

He’s also in an elite spot vs. the Phoenix Suns, who rank just 28th in defensive efficiency.

I like the over here up to -160 and would play the over at 12.5, as well.

Suns F T.J. Warren

The Pick: Under 22.5 points (-135)

Warren has scored at least 23 points in each of his past two games, but there are reasons for pessimism on today’s slate.

For starters, Devin Booker is expected to return to the lineup, and his presence should result in a lower usage rate. The Suns also have a brutal matchup vs. the Timberwolves, who have been among the best defensive teams in the league since acquiring Robert Covington.

This number feels high considering that the Suns are implied for just 105.25 points. I like the under up to -160.
