  • Sharp action has hit two games on tonight's NBA slate: Mavs-Wizards and Sixers-Bulls.
  • Sports Insights' Bet Signals and betting market percentages reveal which bets the pros are making.

Sharp bettors are all over tonight's busy NBA slate, but while they've touched on several games, they've had an exceptionally significant impact on two in particular.

Both the Mavericks-Wizards (7 p.m. ET) and 76ers-Bulls (8 p.m. ET) matchups have seen their lines shaped as a result of professional action. Let's take a look.

Dallas Mavericks @ Washington Wizards

7 p.m. ET

Sharp angle: Over (moved from 231.5 to 232.5)

It's not the most eye-catching matchup, but this one has actually tracked the most bet on tonight's NBA slate at the time of writing. That probably won't hold up, as much of the reason is probably its early start time, but nonetheless, bettors have put it on sportsbooks' radars.

As for how those bettors are playing this game, 65% are interestingly playing the under. I say interestingly because the public tends to root for points, and thus flocks to overs. In this case, though, public bettors aren't expecting an especially high-scoring game.

Still, this total has risen a point — and in some cases two points — from its opening number thanks to sharp action.

The 35% of bettors taking the over have accounted for 48% of actual money being wagered on the total. That means bigger bettors — the ones more likely to be sharps — are among that minority.

Per Sports Insights' Bet Signals — triggered whenever sharp action causes market-wide line movement — wiseguys have increased the total on four occasions, though it's worth noting that the most recent signal came at a total of 231.5.

Philadelphia 76ers @ Chicago Bulls

8 p.m. ET

Sharp angle: Bulls (moved from +6 to +4.5)

The Bulls are making their second consecutive appearance on the NBA Sharp Report. Unfortunately, wiseguys weren't able to cash on Chicago last night, but they aren't the type to let a one-game sample affect their strategy.

Only 35% of bettors have taken the Bulls tonight, which isn't too surprising consider they sit 23.5 games back of Philly in the Eastern Conference. However, as was the case with the Mavs-Wizards over, those bettors have generated a much higher percentage of actual money.

An impressive 81% of dollars have landed on the Bulls, to be exact, one again revealing the opinion of bigger, probably sharper bettors. Sportsbooks have responded by dropping this line by 1.5 points to its current number.

And not to be forgotten, Sports Insights Bet Signals have revealed four instances of sharp action hitting the Bulls, at lines ranging from +5 to +6.
