  • With only four games Monday's NBA slate doesn't have a ton to offer, but sharps are still finding value on Sixers-Magic (7 p.m. ET).
  • Sports Insights' Bet Signals and betting market percentages reveal which bet the pros are making.

For those who might've taken the past four days off NBA betting to focus on some other basketball tournament, returning to see only four games on tonight's slate might be a bit of a disappointment.

But while the market remains somewhat quiet, sharps are still finding at least one spot with enough value to bet tonight.

Philadelphia 76ers @ Orlando Magic

7 p.m. ET

With nine games to go, the Magic are sitting just one game outside the current Eastern Conference playoff picture. And since the Heat are enjoying a night off, Orlando will have a chance to cut that deficit to one-half game with a win over the Sixers tonight.

However, that win is something most bettors don't see happening. The Magic opened as 3-point underdogs at home to Philly, and 64% of bets have laid the points with the Sixers. But as evidenced by the line movement on the game, sharps aren't the ones making those bets.

Orlando is now down to +1.5 despite its minority backing, essentially serving as a dead giveaway that wiseguys are expecting a Magic cover tonight.

Sports Insights' Bet Signals, which are triggered by market-wide line movement as a result of sharp action, have revealed seven instances of professional action, coming at lines of +3, +2.5 and +2, and resulting in the current number.

Also serving as an indication of sharp support behind the Magic has been the discrepancy between their percentage of bets and money. The 36% of Orlando bettors have generated 44% of actual money being wagered on the matchup.

That means bigger bets — the ones more likely to be made by sharps — are taking the points.

Sharp angle: Magic (moved from +3 to +1.5)
