  • Two of tonight's eight NBA games (Raptors-Celtics and Trail Blazers-Timberwolves) have attracted significant action from sharp bettors.
  • Sports Insights' Bet Signals reveal which way the sharp money is going.

With college football, college hoops, and the NBA all in action Friday, there's plenty of betting options to go around tonight, and sharp bettors have dipped their hands into each jar.

As for the NBA, two games have drawn the brunt of tonight's wiseguy activity: Raptors-Celtics (7:30 p.m. ET, ESPN) and Blazers-T'Wolves (8 p.m. ET, FS-N).

Toronto Raptors @ Boston Celtics

7:30 p.m. ET | ESPN

Sharp angle: Under (moved from 214 to 218)

There's no doubting that line movement is one of most important factors in identifying sharp action, but relying on opening and closing lines alone can sometimes lead bettors in the wrong direction.

In this case, it seems that the 75% of bets and 87% of money being wagered on the over has been too much for oddsmakers, despite what their sharper customers might be betting.

While they haven't been able to stop the line from increasing, Sports Insights Bet Signals do show six moves on the under in this matchup, indicating that most sharp action on this total is, in fact, banking on a low-scoring game.

Portland Trail Blazers @ Minnesota Timberwolves

8 p.m. ET | FS-N

Sharp angles: Minnesota (moved from +1.5 to +1), Under (moved from 223.5 to 222)

One bet wasn't enough for wiseguys in this Northwest Division matchup.

The Wolves have drawn only 37% of bettors tonight, but those have accounted for 69% of the money, meaning bigger — and probably sharper — bettors are among the 37%.

Minnesota has also triggered two Bet Signals to help this line fall away from the popular side.

As for the total, it's fallen by 1.5 points despite 69% of bets hitting the over. Once again, sharp bettors have been the cause for the line move, as they've triggered three Bet Signals thus far.
