Monday’s slate brings with it nine games out of the NBA, and as you might expect, sharps have found some value in a handful of spots. They’ve made four bets across three games tonight, including a pair on what should be one of the more heavily bet matchups of the evening: Thunder at Sixers.

Pacers vs. Hornets

7 p.m. ET

With an opening number of 209.5, this was already the lowest total on the Monday slate. According to sharps, though, it wasn’t low enough.

Four Sports Insights Bet Signals — indicators of sharp money hitting the market based on line activity — have hit this game since it opened, and all four have come on the under.

Also worth noting is the discrepancy between bets and actual money hitting this total. Only 44% of bettors are taking the under (which on its own already makes the downward movement significant), but they’ve generated 55% of actual money, meaning they’re making bigger bets — ones more likely to come from sharps.

As a result of the pro action, oddsmakers have dropped the total by a point from its opening number.

Celtics vs. Wizards

7 p.m. ET

Winners in eight of their past nine games, the Celtics have become public favorites as of late, but that’s also made them a prime fade target for sharp bettors who feel the C’s are a bit overvalued. And that trend is continuing into Monday night.

In this case, the bet-money discrepancy is far more extreme, as the 68% of bets behind Boston have generated just 27% of actual money, once again revealing the opinion of bigger (probably sharper) bettors.

And while comparing the opener (BOS -8) to the current spread (-8.5) wouldn’t suggest movement toward Washington, this line did reach a high mark of +9, which is where sharp bettors hit the Wizards twice per SI Bet Signals, driving it back to +8.5

Thunder vs. 76ers

7 p.m. ET

One bet wasn’t enough for sharps in this game. They’ve hit both the side and total, triggering two Bet Signals apiece in the process.

First came the action on the spread. Starting yesterday and into this morning, sharps hit the Sixers, who opened around -6/-6.5 depending on the sportsbook (both signals came at -6.5). Philly has attracted only 45% of bettors, but that sharp action has brought the line up to a current consensus of -7.5.

As for the total, an opening number as high as 214 has been brought down to 212.5 thanks two another pair of sharp moves on the under (both at 213). Only 31% of bettors have taken the under though, making the move all the more significant.

Sharp angles: 76ers (moved from -6.5 to -7.5), Under (moved from 214 to 212.5)
