  • Sharp action has made its way to two games on tonight's NBA slate: Suns-Raptors (7:30 p.m. ET) and Lakers-Thunder (9:30 p.m. ET).
  • Sports Insights' Bet Signals reveal which way the smart money is going.

With only six games on tap in the NBA today, the pros will once again take a backseat to their college counterparts, at least as far as overall betting action goes. That's not to suggest that sharps haven't found some NBA games with value tonight, however.

Two of tonight's matchups, Suns-Raptors (7:30 p.m. ET) and Lakers-Thunder (9:30 p.m. ET), have drawn some considerable action from wiseguys. Let's take a look.

Phoenix Suns @ Toronto Raptors

7:30 p.m. ET | FS-AZ

Sharp angle: Suns (moved from +8.5 to +8)

This line actually opened at Toronto -11.5, but following the announcement that both Kawhi Leonard and Kyle Lowry would be resting, it fell to -9 or -8.5 depending on the book.

Even given the new opening number, sharp bettors still felt there was value to be had on the road dogs.

The Suns have drawn only 43% of bets in this matchup, but those have accounted for 77% of actual money being wagered. That means bigger bettors — the ones more likely to be sharps — are taking the points.

Confirming that indication is a Sports Insights Bet Signal on the Suns at +8.5, helping bring the line to its current number.

Los Angeles Lakers @ Oklahoma City Thunder

9:30 p.m. ET | TNT

Sharp angle: Lakers (moved from +10 to +10.5)

Public and sharp bettors have oddsmakers going back and forth on this line.

After opening as 10-point favorites, the Thunder were bet up to -10.5 by a heavy majority of the public — 70%, to be exact.

Sharps, however, found the new number to be a tad high, and triggered two Sports Insights Bet Signals on the Lakers, bringing the number back down to its opener.

LA also has generated a significantly higher percentage of money (45%) than bets (30%), meaning it's drawing action from the bigger, sharper players.

Despite that, the overload of public action has caused some books return to OKC -10.5, so it wouldn't come as a surprise to see more smart money hit the Lakers before tip.
