  • Sharp action has hit three games on Tuesday's NBA slate.
  • Sports Insights' Bet Signals and betting market percentages reveal which bets the pros are making.

With Tuesday marking the first true day of wall-to-wall college basketball action, tonight's NBA slate has taken a bit of a backseat throughout the day. Sharps aren't limiting themselves to just the college game, though.

Three NBA matchups on tonight's seven-game slate have seen their lines impacted significantly by sharp bettors, including Knicks-Pacers (7 p.m. ET) and Timberwolves-Nuggets (10:30 p.m. ET).

New York Knicks @ Indiana Pacers

7 p.m. ET | MSG

Sharp angle: Under (moved from 212 to 208)

At its opening number of 212, this was already the lowest total on today's slate by six points. Since opening, though, it's fallen even further down to 208 — no thanks to the betting public.

In fact, 56% of bettors are taking the over in the matchup, but sharper bettors have been going the other way.

The 44% of bets on the under have generated 85% of the actual money being wagered on the total. Obviously, that's going to create a monetary liability for sportsbooks, but that's only part of the reason for the line move. Since bigger bets are more likely to come from sharper players, books aren't just following the money, they're following the smart money.

Confirming the wiseguy activity have been three Sports Insights Bet Signals. Triggered whenever professional action causes a market-wide line shift, the three signals have revealed sharp moves on the under at 212, 210.5 and 210.

San Antonio Spurs @ Dallas Mavericks

8 p.m. ET | FS-SW

Sharp angle: Mavericks (moved from +5.5 to +4.5)

Getting only 29% of bets tonight, the Mavs are currently the second-least popular team tonight. They haven't been unpopular among the sharps, though.

Dallas has fallen a full point from its opening point spread, which when combined with its lack of support, serves as a dead giveaway of sharp action.

While the bet vs. money discrepancy isn't as big in this case (Dallas has picked up 34% of money), SI Bet Signals confirm the sharp action again, as they've triggered moves on the Mavericks at +5.5 and +5, driving the line down to the current number.

Minnesota Timberwolves @ Denver Nuggets

10:30 p.m. ET | TNT

Sharp angle: Timberwolves (moved from +10.5 to +9)

As for the least popular team of the night, that title goes to Minnesota. The T'wolves have drawn in only 28% of bettors, but like both other plays on tonight's card, have seen the line move toward them despite their lack of popularity.

In this case, the bigger bets are certainly hitting the Wolves, as they've drawn 55% of actual money being wagered on the matchup. They've also triggered three Bet Signals, most recently at +9.5 causing the last move to +9.
