Sharp Money Shocking SMU-Wichita State Betting Line

Ah, a pun in the title. Nothing can ever top that, can it?

Tonight, the SMU Mustangs head to the fine state of Kansas to take on the Shockers in an AAC matchup for the ages…or at least tonight.

Wichita State, whose 14/1 title odds are tied for the fourth best, opened at -9.5 tonight at home against the 'Stangs. The Shockers are tied atop the AAC with Cincinnati at 5-0 and hold a strong overall record of 15-2. SMU, however, has struggled in conference play, going just 2-3 with an ATS record of just 5-7-1.

Despite of this, it appears as if sharp bettors are jumping in their American built muscle cars, picking up some chicks, and heading to their sportsbook to bet on SMU.

Though they are getting just 20% of bets, the Mustangs are getting a whopping 72% of dollars. This +52% differential has helped them move from +9.5 to +8.5 since opening.

If we take a look at the Sportsbook Insider Pro membership over at Sports Insights, we'll see that sharp money actually hit them once the number reached +10. This reverse line movement quickly moved the line down to +8.5 across the market.
