Conference tournament action rolls on Wednesday night, and some surprising underdogs are getting love from bettors.

Rutgers (+1 vs. Nebraska) is among the teams that both public and sharp bettors have hit hard. It's the second-most bet game of those that haven't already tipped off.

All betting data comes from our public betting page (ticket count is free, but money percentages are available only to EDGE subscribers). Betting trends are available for free in The Action Network app, while more advanced betting systems are available to Sports Insights subscribers via Bet Labs.

Most Public Sides

As of 4 p.m. ET. Minimum 1,000 bets tracked.

  1. Illinois -2 (81%) vs. Northwestern
  2. Air Force -11 (77%) vs. San Jose State
  3. Louisville -7.5 (76%) vs. Notre Dame
  4. Marshall -6.5 (76%) vs. Rice
  5. Texas A&M -3.5 (74%) vs. Vanderbilt

Biggest Betting Ticket/Money Discrepancies

We track both betting tickets on a given game and the percentage of money that's been bet on each side. If there's a big discrepancy, there's likely some sharper, larger bets on the opposite side.

Here are the three biggest discrepancies for Wednesday night as of 4:30 p.m. ET. This data will change as we get closer to tipoffs. Minimum 1,000 bets.

UCLA +1.5 vs. Stanford

  • 9 p.m. ET, Pac-12 Network
  • 50% of tickets, 90% of money
  • 40% difference
  • Line move: UCLA +1 to +1.5

Pitt +7 vs. Syracuse

  • 9 p.m. ET, ESPN2
  • 27% of tickets, 47% of money
  • 20% difference
  • Line move: Pitt +7.5 to +7

Pitt has won two in a row after losing 13 straight, and bettors are confident the Panthers can keep it close.

Rutgers +1 vs. Nebraska

  • 6:30 p.m. ET, Big Ten Network
  • 62% of tickets, 78% of money
  • 16% difference
  • Line move: Rutgers +1.5 to +1

Is there a team most bettors are out on more than Nebraska? The Huskers went an abysmal 5-14 against the spread (ATS) from Jan. 2 on, while Rutgers finished the year 6-2 ATS and upset Nebraska as an 8.5-point dog.
