We've got six games featuring ranked college basketball teams on Sunday — No. 4/3 Duke, No. 5 Virginia, No. 10 Michigan State, No. 17/15 Florida State, No. 18/19 Mississippi State, No. 20/21 TCU.

Let's focus in on one of those (Florida State-Tulane) in addition to Vanderbilt-USC, to find betting value on the hardwood today.

Betting odds: Florida State at Tulane

  • Spread: Florida State -15
  • Over/Under: 151
  • Start time: 7 p.m. ET
  • TV: ESPN3

The Seminoles are coming off an unanticipated blowout win over against Florida, manufacturing a 59.3 Effective Field Goal Percentage while holding the Gators to a 42.6 eFG%.

FSU senior guard PJ Savoy was a huge factor with game highs in points (20) and 3s (5). The experienced core of Savoy, Terrence Mann and Trent Forrest will be overwhelming for the Green Wave.

With Tulane losing Melvin Frazier to the NBA and Cameron Reynolds to graduation, it won't have enough scoring to keep up with the Seminoles, who averaged a sound 1.10 Points Per Possession in their opener. They also yielded a mere 0.81 PPP.

Despite Green Wave having some decent length in their frontcourt, led by redshirt junior Semir Sehic, it won't be enough to compete against the 7-foot-4 Christ Koumadje and the 6-foot-7 Mann.

FSU generated a 25.0 Offensive Rebounding Percentage against the Gators. Expect the program to have similar success in this one.

Seminoles coach Leonard Hamilton has seen his group go 12-2-1 ATS in its past 15 non-conference games. That trend should continue in New Orleans, so capitalize on their underrated future odds before they rise.

THE PICK: Florida State -15

Betting odds: Vanderbilt at USC

  • Spread: USC -2.5
  • Over/Under: 150
  • Start time: 9 p.m. ET
  • TV: Pac-12 Network

This matchup is tough to project, as Trojans guard Bennie Boatwright — their second-leading scorer (13.2 ppg) last season — is questionable with a left knee injury.

The Commodores, meanwhile, are one of the youngest teams in college basketball, led by their five-star hauls Darius Garland and Simi Shittu. They looked as good as advertised in their season opener, combing for 42 points.

Shittu will face a tough test in the 6-foot-11 Nick Rakocevic, but the 6-foot-10 freshman's talent should win out.

Many forget while Vandy struggled as a whole last season (8-21 ATS), Bryce Drew's unit still finished with the 29th-best Adjusted Offensive Efficiency on KenPom.

Combine Drew's elite freshmen haul with Notre Dame transfer Matt Ryan and first-year wing Aaron Nesmith, and they'll keep pace with most of their opponents.

USC is no exception, as it lacks a bit less backcourt burst sans Boatwright  — despite its superior experience.

Assuming Boatwright doesn't play, the Commodores should cover in their first true road test. The moneyline (+120) is more of an attractive option with the spread tightening up. Bet the under (150), too, as both squads have showcased sound perimeter defenses.

THE PICKS: Vanderbilt ML (+120) and Under (150)
