  • Sharp bettors are affecting lines in four of tonight's college basketball matchups, including UNC-Kentucky (5:15 p.m. ET on CBS).
  • Sports Insights' Bet Signals and betting market percentages help reveal which way the smart money is going.

Yesterday we had a winter solstice. Today we get a sports equinox.

Five major sports leagues are in action on Saturday, and of those five, one offers bettors over 60 games with lines from which to choose.

That would, of course, be college basketball, and with such a heavy slate being offered, it should come as no surprise to see at least a few games drawing some sharp action.

Sharps enjoyed a 3-1 Friday night, and today they've targeted four games with start times ranging from 4:30 to 7 p.m. ET, including UNC-Kentucky.

Northern Colorado vs. Rider

4:30 p.m. ET (at Orleans Arena in Las Vegas)

Sharp angle: Northern Colorado (moved from pk to -2.5)

With so many games taking place on Saturday, this one will surely fall through the weeds — at least for most public bettors.

As it stands now, Northern Colorado is seeing a slightly higher percentage of bets (53%), but that's nowhere near enough to move a line 2.5 points all else equal.

All else is not equal, however, as sharps have been getting down on the Bears since late last night.

Two Sports Insights Bet Signals have been triggered on Northern Colorado since this line opened, though if you're looking to tail this play, it's worth noting that both moves came when the line was still a pick'em.

Also pushing this line toward Northern Colorado has been the significantly higher money percentage (80%), indicating that bigger, probably sharper players are backing the Bears.

Murray State @ Auburn

4:30 p.m. ET | SEC Network

Sharp angle: Auburn (moved from -11.5 to -14)

A similar story is taking place in this matchup, as Auburn is also getting a slight majority of bets but seeing significant line movement as a result.

The 58% of bets behind the Tigers have accounted for 84% of actual dollars wagered, which has put a heavy sharp liability on Auburn.

That, plus the two confirmed instances of sharp action through Sports Insights' Bet Signals have given oddsmakers no choice but to widen this margin.

North Carolina vs. Kentucky

5:15 p.m. ET (at United Center in Chicago) | CBS

Sharp angle: Kentucky (moved from +3.5 to +2)

In what'll be the most heavily bet game on today's college hoops slate, North Carolina is attracting 57% of bets and 60% of money wagered.

Despite that, UNC's line is down from -3.5 to -2.

While the Wildcats have triggered just one Bet Signal, a line moving toward the unpopular side in a heavily bet game — assuming no personnel changes — can only be explained by sharp action.

Wright State @ Mississippi State

7 p.m. ET | SEC Network

Sharp angle: Wright State (moved from +13.5 to +12.5)

Traveling to play the 17th-ranked team in the country, Wright State is expectedly receiving a minority backing tonight.

Only 27% of bettors are taking a shot on the Raiders, but they've accounted for an impressive 74% of money wagered. That means the average bet on Wright State to this point has been close to nine times bigger than the average Mississippi State bet.

And since sharper bettors tend to be the ones putting down big money, that serves as a strong indication that wiseguys are taking the points.

Confirming that indication is a Sports Insights Bet Signal, triggered on the Raiders at +13, and helping bring this line down to its current number.
