  • College basketball is back tonight with a 45-game betting slate.
  • Of those, three have seen a heavy dose of sharp action leading up to tip-off, including Michigan State-Kansas.

If the content on our front page didn't give it away, college basketball returns tonight with a few games.

Excuse me, forty-five games with betting lines are on tonight's college hoops slate, which means there's bound to be some sharp action on the board.

Three games in particular are standing out to sharp bettors this evening, all of which tip off at 7 p.m. ET.

Among them is Michigan State-Kansas, which is predictably expected to see the second-highest bet count of any game tonight.

Towson @ Virginia

7 p.m. ET

Sharp angle: Over (moved from 130 to 131)

If a college basketball under is seeing 82% of bets, there's got to be something special about the teams involved. In this case, that special team is Virginia.

Unders went 20-7 last season in Virginia's games, as the Cavs allowed only 54 points per game — the lowest mark in the nation by more than three points.

With that in mind, it's no surprise that the public is loading up on this under. What may be a surprise, though, is that the total is rising.

At the time of writing, five Sports Insights Bet Signals — indications of sharp action — have been triggered on the over, causing this number to move from its opening number of 130 to 131.5.

Pennsylvania @ George Mason

7 p.m. ET

Sharp angle: Penn (moved from +5 to +4.5)

Believe it or not, this game is holding steady as one of the top 10 most heavily bet matchups on tonight's slate. Of the action it's attracting, two-thirds of bets have landed on George Mason.

You might notice that the line move above begins at +5, but if you were to check our app or live odds page, you'd see an opening number of +3.5. That's because sharp bettors didn't get on this game right away.

Instead they let the public drive this line up to a number they deemed valuable before making their move.

Penn has triggered four Bet Signals at +5, causing the line to change directions.

The Quakers have also accounted for 83% of actual dollars wagered despite their minority backing, meaning they're getting the much bigger — and probably sharper — bets.

Michigan State vs. Kansas

7 p.m. ET

Sharp angle: Michigan State (moved from +6 to +4.5)

Now for a game you'll actually be watching. The top-ranked Jayhawks opened as six-point favorites over Michigan State, but are now listed at just -4.5.

Sharp bettors have been hitting Michigan State all day, most notably indicated by two Bet Signals on Sparty at +6 this morning. MSU has also accounted for a higher percentage of money wagered (40%) than bets in this game.
