Virginia Tech has a strong defensive matchup edge, and beat a Zion Williamson-less Duke last month, but is still a 7-point underdog.

4:45 p.m. ET: The spread has remained at Duke -7, but the total has continued to fall, down to as low as 142.5 at some books.
2 p.m. ET: The market is moving toward Virginia Tech, with some books showing -6.5 on Friday afternoon. Our Line Predictor Tool at Sports Insights says we’ll see more books move to -6.5 soon, so you may want to get Tech now if you’re comfortable with +7.
11 a.m. ET: The market has pretty much settled at -7 on gameday, but it did reach -6.5 at some books on Wednesday and Thursday. It was immediately bet back up.
Look for books to limit exposure to Virginia Tech moneyline by lowering it close to game time.
