Alabama (10-1) is set to meet Georgia for a high-profile, SEC title game.

But first, the Crimson Tide have to get by an opponent in the regular-season finale that's given them recent fits.

Oddsmakers opened the Crimson Tide at -19 for Saturday's Iron Bowl against Auburn (6-5), with a total of 53.5.

The Tigers have beaten head coach Nick Saban and Co. twice over the last four years.

However, Alabama's offense has gone bananas on the scoreboard lately in the series, averaging 46.3 points per game over the last three.

The Crimson Tide are led by quarterback Bryce Young, who was recently usurped of his Heisman favorite tag.

Still, he's +150 entering Week 13, fresh off a school-record 559 passing yards and five scores.

The offense in general is heating up at the right time as the school looks to clinch another bid to the Playoff.

Since suffering their first loss of the season to Texas A&M in Week 6, the Tide have scored at least 42 points in four of five.

Alabama is also 11-2 against the spread after failing to cover in its previous game, which applies after the Tide escaped Arkansas by seven as 21-point chalk.

The Tide are currently third in our Power Ratings.

They'd been second seemingly the entire season before being passed up by a red-hot Ohio State squad.

The SEC powerhouse is listed at +400 to win the national title at DraftKings, behind only Georgia and Ohio State.

Auburn, meanwhile, is officially in a spoiler role for head coach Bryan Harsin's first Iron Bowl.

The Tigers are reeling, losing three straight games both straight up and against the spread, in addition to dealing with injuries to key positions.

Quarterback Bo Nix — who piloted a 48-45 win over Alabama in 2019 — was notably lost for the year a few weeks ago.

Auburn has struggled in the month of November, dropping four straight against the spread.

The low light came in Week 12, with a loss to South Carolina as a seven-point road favorite.

Auburn is a fringe top-25 squad in our Power Ratings as the program grades out as the eighth-best in the SEC.

The home team has covered four straight meetings in this series.
