Baylor may be unbeaten and getting lots of love from the national media, but the Bears still have plenty of work to do on offense.

That's part of the reason they're listed as a 10-point home underdog to Oklahoma on Saturday in a pivotal Big 12 clash.

The Sooners have struggled on defense in the last two games especially, but Baylor's offense hasn't been much better.

Statistical Profile

What to Like About Oklahoma

The Sooners are dynamic as ever on offense. Their 9.29 yards per play ranks No. 1 nationally and more than 1.5 yards per play more than the next closest team (Alabama).

It's also a better mark than Oklahoma's offenses the last two years, led by Heisman winners Kyler Murray and Baker Mayfield.

The defense has been the troubling unit, though. It seemed like the Sooners took a step forward under new coordinator Alex Grinch, but the last two games have been ugly, allowing at least 40 points and at least 5.8 yards per play in each game.

Oklahoma still ranks No. 39 in defensive SP+, but this week will be a good barometer for how far this defense has really come.

What to Like About Baylor

Baylor's defense has been excellent all season, ranking No. 14 nationally in yards per play allowed, but it hasn't really been tested against an offense like Oklahoma's.

The Bears offense has struggled in the last two weeks, scraping by at home against West Virginia and winning at TCU in triple overtime despite not scoring in regulation.
