  • The forecast calls for 25-mph winds this weekend in Wyoming, where the Cowboys will be hosting San Jose State (2 p.m. ET on ATSN).
  • Using The Action Network's betting tools, we analyze how the weather forecast is affecting both the spread and over/under.

San Jose State-Wyoming (2 p.m. ET on ATSN) is not the most popular game of the week. Aside from the players' parents in the seats, the stands might be empty. But by golly it doesn't matter because you don't bet on a game for its entertainment value.

Well, some folks do, but not the ones who do it for a living. You bet on a game to win money, and there's money to be won in Wyoming on Saturday.

The San Jose State Spartans are heading to War Memorial Stadium in Laramie to play the Wyoming Cowboys, and I hope they didn't forget their booties cause it's gonna be coooold out there.

The forecast calls for temperatures between 30 and 33 degrees, with winds averaging 25 mph!

We're talking about wind chills around 20 degrees, so even if everyone in the crowd lit up a Laramie smoke, I doubt it would warm up the stadium a lick.

Considering the bitingly chilly and breezy forecast, the over/under has taken quite a hit. After opening at 45.5, the total has fallen to 39.5.

There have been two Bet Signals on the under tracked at Sports Insights, making it clear that sharp bettors have bought into the forecast.

Historically, when winds average at least 20 mph, the under has hit 64% of the time, according to Bet Labs. If the total closes below 40, it will be just the second time on record that we've had an over/under that low with winds above 20 mph.

With the total so low, sharp bettors have also hit on San Jose State, which opened at +14. It has since moved to +13.5 despite getting 34% of bets.

With a handful of college football Week 10 matchups expecting wild weather, be sure to sign up for Bet Labs and follow the Weather Unders Pro system.
