With the Saints and Chiefs’ losses in the Championship Game losses, the 2019 NFL Draft order is almost completely set.
Per NFL rules, teams that lose this weekend cannot have a higher draft pick than those that lost earlier in the NFL Playoffs.
Also, of the two franchises that lose this weekend, the one with the worst regular-season record will get the highest pick. If there are ties, the franchise that played the weaker 2018 schedule will get priority.
Draft order as of Sunday evening.
Updated 2019 NFL Draft Order
The Saints would’ve been locked into the No. 30 overall pick, but they do not own their 2019 first-round pick after trading it to the Packers on draft day last year.
So it’s Green Bay that will be selecting 30th overall.
The Chiefs own their first-rounder for the first time since trading up to select Patrick Mahomes in the 2017 draft.
They’ll be drafting 29th overall.
