The most popular betting event of the year is less than two weeks away and sportsbooks around the market have set their initial limits for Super Bowl 52.
Even though these limits will likely increase closer to Feb. 4 as the books try to maximize their handles and manage risk, we reached out to some of the most popular offshore shops to gauge current betting limits for spread, moneyline and over/under wagers.
NOTE: Limits below reflect posted limits at time of publication.
Bookmaker, a market-setting book known for its high limits and willingness to book professional action, currently leads the way with a $50,000 limit for the spread.
These limits drastically differ from some of the more public sportsbooks like Bovada, which has set a limit of $3,000 on the spread, $1,000 on the moneyline and $2,000 on the total.
If you’re looking to bet on the total, Heritage currently has the highest limit of the bunch at $20,000. Those interested in wagering on the moneyline will find the highest limits at Bookmaker, BetDSI, Sportsbook and 5Dimes, which are all set at $10,000.
