  • The New Orleans Saints signed 30-year old, free agent WR Dez Bryant to a 1-year deal.
  • One sportsbook told The Action Network that the Saints would be 5-point road favorites against the Dallas Cowboys, Bryant's former team, on Thursday Night Football in Week 13.

The NFL season is headed into Week 10 and the New Orleans Saints are 7-1, lead the NFC South division and own the leagues second-most efficient offense, averaging 34.9 PPG.

Guess what? The rich just got richer.

The New Orleans Saints today signed 30-year old, free agent wide receiver Dez Bryant to a 1-year deal. The Saints play the Cincinnati Bengals this week on the road and are listed as 5.5-point favorites, which is up from 4.5 as of yesterday.

Three weeks from now, the New Orleans Saints will travel to AT&T Stadium to face the Dallas Cowboys, where Dez Bryant spent eight seasons and scored 75 total receiving touchdowns (including the playoffs).

An offshore sportsbook told The Action Network that it would currently make the Saints 5-point road favorites over the Cowboys.

That’s in line with the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook’s 5.5-point “Game of the Year” spread, which are posted before the season.

The Saints now receive an added offensive weapon after winning seven of their first eight games to start the season for just the third time in franchise history and the first time since 1991.
