NFL Sunday: FanDuel Promo Code Scores $1,000 for Week 11

NFL Sunday: FanDuel Promo Code Scores $1,000 for Week 11 article feature image

The New England Patriots host the New York Jets for their second meeting of 2022 and an integral contest among the AFC East.

While the Jets attempt to climb atop the division, FanDuel’s promo code will provide a no-sweat first bet of up to $1,000 on the game plus any of the other twelve on tap Sunday.

If you’re in Maryland, this is a wonderful opportunity to grab your early sign-up bonus ahead of the Nov. 21 launch date. FanDuel is extending Maryland bettors $100 in free bets plus a free three month subscription to NBA League Pass with their pre-register offer.

No-Sweat Bet Preview: Patriots-Jets

This offer simply means you’re insured for whatever you wage on your first bet (up to $1,000 max).

Here’s a tip: Always look for plus-money wagers when using betting promos; you’ll always see more expected value this way.  Let’s look for one to bet on for Commanders-Eagles.

Pats-Jets Promo Bet to Consider

It’s a strange universe we’re living in where the Jets vie for first and the Patriots sit last in the AFC East. Granted, they are only one game apart heading into Sunday’s kickoff, which is why this rivalry meeting at MetLife Stadium means that much more in the arms race.

The Jets fell to the Pats on Oct. 30 22-17 in what was perceived as a winnable contest. They have displayed one of the league’s best defenses all season — ranking second in stopping third down conversions, red zone touchdowns allowed and third in interceptions. New York used their shutdown defense and young, darkhorse weapons around Zach Wilson on offense to upset the juggernaut Bills following the loss to New England.

Bill Belichek’s team also boasts a top 10 defense in the league — tied for third with the Jets in interceptions and second in sacks. The Pats have won back-to-back games by chipping away with a conservative offense and letting their secondary run opposing offenses off the field.

Pick: Given how similar both of these teams are, something will have to give.  Both teams are fresh off a bye rest and the the Jets are priced as +148 underdogs at FanDuel. With that value, plus the notion that these are two top-tier defenses, let’s go with this two-leg parlay:

Bet Line
Jets ML +148
Under 38.5 -114
Total +306

Placing The No-Sweat Bet

OK, so we place $100 on this bet (we can place anything up to $1,000 and get that amount reimbursed should it lose).

Here’s how this can look:

Bet Profit Money in Acct.
Parlay hits $306 $406
Parlay misses $100 free bets $100 free bets

What Are Free Bets?

If you win with free bets, you keep the profits, but not the free bet money. But lose, and you’re out of luck.

Pretend the Jets lose in a high-scoring affair. We lose the parlay and have $100 in free bets to only bet with. We cannot withdraw them (this is why it’s not necessarily risk free — because we don’t get our deposit back in real cash).

We bet the following late-window parlay on Sunday:

Bet Line
Rams ML +126
Commanders -3 -110
Total +306

Here’s how the free bets play:

  • The parlay hits: We win $306 (coincidentally the same line as our first bet), but the $100 in free bets disappear. We’ve profited $206 since our deposit.
  • The parlay misses: We have nothing.
