  • The latest weather forecast for Sunday's NFL Divisional Round game between the Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers calls for a less of a chance of snow than initially expected.
  • Get all of the details for Sunday's forecast below, including how it has impacted the latest betting odds for Seahawks-Packers.
  • Typically when snow is possible, bettors flock to bet the under. Is that what's happening with Seahawks-Packers?

Would it be a Green Bay playoff game without freezing cold conditions or snow? Or better yet, both?

Though I'm sitting out here in Massachusetts in 65-degree heat, Green Bay will boast its characteristic wintry conditions when the Seahawks visit the Packers on Sunday evening.

Let's look at the details of the Seahawks vs. Packers weather forecast, including the impact its having on betting odds for this game.

Seahawks vs. Packers Weather Forecast

Should you expect a blizzard at Lambeau Field? No. However, the folks in Wisconsin will be dealing with snow on Sunday.

Snow fell in the Green Bay area Saturday into Saturday night, enough to offer 350 fans $12 an hour to go and shovel out the stadium before Sunday's game.

Sunday night will also feature snow, but just how much varies depending on which weather outlet you check. Some say flurries will fall only in the second half of the game, while others report a chance for light snow throughout the game.

The National Weather Service is calling for around three-quarters of an inch between 6 p.m. ET and midnight.

With Lambeau Field's heating system, I don't imagine the snow will be falling at a fast enough pace to pile up on the playing surface.

It will be very cold — temps should sit in the low 20s throughout the game — but the field itself will be a bit warmer than freezing thanks to heated coils running underground.

Though it won't be a whiteout, the over/under for this game has taken a hit thanks to the forecast. Between 7 a.m. ET and noon ET on Saturday, the total fell from 47 to 45.5, with a Steam Move serving as the instigator.

Cold temperatures on their own aren't enough to impact scoring in an NFL game, but it's clear that the combination of weather elements in Green Bay is enough to move the odds.

Sunday Afternoon Update (12:30 p.m. ET)

Those hoping for steady snowfall will likely end up disappointed, as the latest forecast suggests Lambeau won't see significant snowfall until after the game.

Snow showers and flurries are still a definite possibility, as there is around a 50% chance of precipitation throughout the game. The steady snowfall arrives closer to 10 p.m. local time, though. The forecast still calls for temperatures in the low 20s accompanied by insignificant winds.

Despite the weakening forecast, the over/under for this game continues to fall. After sharp action dropped the total from 47 to 45.5 yesterday, we saw another dip to 45 today — the lowest it's been all week.
