Kansas City's worst nightmare came true when reigning NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes suffered a dislocated kneecap during the second quarter of last night's game against the Denver Broncos.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Chiefs' star quarterback could potentially play in three weeks should the MRI results reveal no damage. On the other hand, there's still a chance that Mahomes could miss an extended period of time.
