  • There has been quite a bit of movement among Super Bowl 53 odds heading into the Divisional Round.
  • The Saints remain +225 favorites while the Rams and Patriots both moved from +500 to +450.
  • The Chargers' odds dropped from +700 to +800 during their win over the Ravens after letting Baltimore get close.

A crazy Wild Card Weekend full of ugly play, bad beats, double-doinks and upsets has come to an end. Only eight teams remain in the hunt for Super Bowl 53, and sportsbooks have accordingly adjusted the odds.

The Saints remain the favorites at +225, but there's been some serious movement down the list — even for teams with a first-round bye.

Here's the latest update, as well as each team's week-by-week odds.

Risers

Los Angeles Chargers: +1600 to +800 (+5.2% Implied Probability)

Fun fact: The Chargers were actually +700 when they were dominating the first three quarters of this past Sunday's wild-card game against the Ravens, but dropped to +800 after letting Lamar Jackson throw a couple touchdowns in the final quarter to make things way more hairy than they needed to be.

A big 1.4% swing in implied odds just because of that.

That wasn't all, though. Here's how odds moved for two other AFC contenders from before Chargers-Ravens kicked, to the third quarter, to the fourth quarter, then after the conclusion of the Eagles-Bears game.

  • Patriots: +500 → +600 → +500 → +450
  • Chiefs: +450 → +500 → +450 → +400

That's the difference between a dominant win and a dominant-win-turned-close-call.

Lots of factors at play here, try and keep up.

Indianapolis Colts: +3000 to +1400 (+3.5% IP)

The Colts won in impressive fashion. Though they weren't able to run up the score — finishing with just the 21 points that they scored over the first quarter and a half — they kept Deshaun Watson and Co. to only seven points in Houston.

At +1200, the Colts' Super Bowl odds are easily the best they have been all season. They were 200-1 a little more than a month ago, which marks an increase of more than 15 times in implied odds between then to now.

Dallas Cowboys: +2500 to +1400 (+2.9% IP)

They didn't cover, but the Cowboys got the job done, beating the Seahawks at home. With the Bears' loss, the Cowboys' upcoming opponent — the Rams — have also seen a slight odds bump from +500 to +450.

Dallas will need to win as a touchdown-dog in Los Angeles next week and pray that the Eagles upset the Saints if they don't want to be +7 or higher again in the NFC Championship Game.

Fallers

The Faithful Departed

The Bears were considered the biggest contender among the four teams that lost this weekend. They crossed the 10-1 barrier for the first time all season entering the playoffs, but lost in the most painful way imaginable.

Houston's wild ride came to an end in a disappointing fashion. The Texans opened the season with 12-1 odds, reached 80-1 after their 0-3 start and got back as low as 14-1 in recent weeks.

The Seahawks were never really seen as a contender despite their strong second half of the season. Though their odds reached 100-1 on a few different occasions earlier in the season, they never made it higher than 25-1.

Baltimore peaked at 18-1 early in the season when they led the division, but never reached that level again even after taking home the AFC North in the end.
